Large Mr Four Square tin sign

Large vintage style Mr Four Square tin sign. 
Measures approx 58 x 80 cm (Length x Height)

His actual name is Cheeky Charlie and he was created in the 1950's by the marketing team at what is known today as Foodstuffs. Initially he was used in their print advertising and then started to appear in the stores.
Cheeky Charlie has become a NZ icon. Cheeky Charlie has had a couple of "touch ups" over the years but generally he is the same old Charlie just slightly refreshed. His new look is in part thanks to NZ artist Dick Frizzell who adopted the logo and gave Cheeky Charlie his character.
