Pewter pendant on cord - Stingray
As seen right around the NZ coastline and just off the beach in Napier, long and short tailed stingray. This pendant is the lonng tailed stingray. The biggest ray I have seen in the wild and in Napier waters was in November 2019 and it was over 3m long and was a longtailed ray that got stuck in Pandora Pond when the tide went out. Staff from the Aquarium came and poured water on its back until the tide came in and the ray was able to swim away.
