From a beautiful part of New Zealand
Mountain Gold bees forage among uncultivated Mānuka growing near the base of the Tararua Ranges.
The hives are surrounded by native forest close to the Pūkaha Mount Bruce Conservation Reserve, while fresh water from the ranges flows through the property via the Ruamāhanga River.
It's a wonderfully New Zealand environment in which to produce a wonderfully New Zealand product.
What do UMF™ 20+ and MGO 829+ mean?
The numbers help you compare the quality and characteristics of genuine Mānuka honey.
MGO refers to methylglyoxal, one of the naturally occurring compounds measured in Mānuka honey. This honey is rated MGO 829+.
UMF™ is an independent New Zealand certification system that tests Mānuka honey for important quality markers including potency, authenticity, freshness and shelf life.
A UMF™ 20+ rating represents a high-grade Mānuka honey and corresponds with an MGO level of approximately 829 mg/kg.
