From a beautiful part of New Zealand
Mountain Gold honey comes from the Wairarapa region near Mount Bruce, where bees forage amongst uncultivated Mānuka growing close to the Tararua Ranges.
The surrounding landscape includes native forest and the Pūkaha Mount Bruce Conservation Reserve, while fresh water flows down from the ranges through the Ruamāhanga River.
It is a wonderfully New Zealand setting for a wonderfully New Zealand product.
What does UMF™ 15+ mean?
UMF™ stands for Unique Mānuka Factor and is an independent New Zealand certification and grading system for genuine Mānuka honey.
The UMF™ system tests several important characteristics of the honey, including its potency, authenticity, freshness and expected shelf life.
A higher UMF™ number represents a higher measured concentration of the compounds assessed through the grading system.
UMF™ 15+ sits in the premium end of the Mānuka honey range, making it a popular choice for customers wanting something a little more special.
Tested for authenticity
Every batch is laboratory tested in New Zealand and independently certified under the UMF™ system.
Mountain Gold Mānuka Honey is carefully harvested and minimally processed before being packed in an export-grade facility.
Pure New Zealand Mānuka honey. Nothing added. Nothing removed.
Enjoy it yourself, or give it as a premium and unmistakably New Zealand gift.
The different grades - when people ask us which one they should get we usually explain it like this:
5+ → Everyday / first Mānuka
10+ → Step-up everyday choice
15+ → Premium / gifting
20+ → High-grade premium / special gift
