From a beautiful part of New Zealand
Mountain Gold Mānuka Honey comes from the Mount Bruce area of New Zealand's Wairarapa region.
Bees forage naturally amongst uncultivated Mānuka growing near the base of the Tararua Ranges, surrounded by native forest and close to the Pūkaha Mount Bruce Conservation Reserve.
Fresh water flows from the ranges through the area via the Ruamāhanga River, creating a wonderfully natural New Zealand environment for the hives.
What do UMF™ 5+ and MGO 100+ mean?
The UMF™ and MGO ratings help identify and compare genuine Mānuka honey.
MGO refers to methylglyoxal, one of the naturally occurring compounds measured in Mānuka honey. This honey is rated MGO 100+.
UMF™ is an independent New Zealand certification and grading system for genuine Mānuka honey.
A UMF™ 5+ rating makes this an excellent everyday Mānuka honey and a particularly good choice for anyone wanting to discover Mānuka without moving immediately into the higher-priced grades.
